The colonial style residence designed by J. H. Morgan and completed in 1930 at the request of Mr. Bertram Robert Berrick. Mr. Berrick was a British merchant who also served as Honorary Finnish Consul. The building was later used as a residence for the St. Joseph International School's (St. Joseph College) Marianist Brothers and dormitory for their students until their school closed.
